I watch her waste away[/font]
Secretly hoping she would realize what she’s done [/font]

I scour the lands for the words you need[/font]
Just hoping I will be the only one who can find them[/font]
Step by step[/font]
You cross boundaries[/font]
Where there is no redemption[/font]
Breath by breath[/font]
I forgive all the wrong you have done[/font]
But never telling you[/font]
Beat by beat[/font]
My heart pounds [/font]
But you’re too far away to answer the knock[/font]
Age by age [/font]
I grow older [/font]
With that I grow more regrets [/font]
Death by death[/font]
You finally pass on[/font]
And with that I tell you how I feel [/font]
Chance by chance

I missed mine

it's a true masterpiece. what i loved most about the poem is the 3 words linked with "by" which are completed in the next line.
