Poem
I feel relief in the bottom of the bottle
I find comfort in the inhale of the drag
The music brings me to places I want to go
Though unable to
Who am I to ignore its sweet serenade?
Bible thumpers will say I'm no good
Maybe they know they're right
After all, who would love someone who refused love?
No, fervently fought against it.
I never had a bad life
Nor have anything to complain about
I'm just human
I desire to feel pleasure
So what if I find relief in the bottom of the bottles?
So what if I find comfort in the inhales of the drags?
The music promises to take me wherever it goes
Who am I to ignore its safety?
I find comfort in the inhale of the drag
The music brings me to places I want to go
Though unable to
Who am I to ignore its sweet serenade?
Bible thumpers will say I'm no good
Maybe they know they're right
After all, who would love someone who refused love?
No, fervently fought against it.
I never had a bad life
Nor have anything to complain about
I'm just human
I desire to feel pleasure
So what if I find relief in the bottom of the bottles?
So what if I find comfort in the inhales of the drags?
The music promises to take me wherever it goes
Who am I to ignore its safety?
