Time to Play

- Time to Play -

The night’s dark and lonely,
Unwanted by the laughing day!
I get the joke; it sets me free…
And it gives me time to play.
Black and red, and platinum too,
I’ve got a special gift for you…
I hope it makes your dreams come true!
Just look into my eyes so blue…
And then you won’t be lonely,
And unwanted by the silly day!
You’ll get the joke; it’ll set you free…
And it’ll give us time to play.

Time to play, time to play,
The rules are simple: do as I say!
Take my hands and dance with me,
I’ll drive you crazy, can’t you see!
Time to play, time to play,
Let’s clown around…
I’m a harlequin!
Time to play, time to play,
Look what I’ve found…
A brand new sin!

Whip me with those eyes, baby,
I’m the sport on which they prey!
I’ll just keep laughing, I don’t care,
What the neighbors think or say…
So touch me, touch me, if you dare.
It’s time to play, so let’s go crazy,
Sane people can be just too lazy…
To keep up with a girl like me.
I’ll run circles around their brains,
Or maybe I’ll just drive you insane!
It’s all part of my wild game,
And it’s time to play!

Time to play, time to play,
The rules are simple: do as I say!
Take my hands and dance with me,
I’ll drive you crazy, can’t you see!
Time to play, time to play,
Let’s clown around…
I’m a harlequin!
Time to play, time to play,
Look what I’ve found…
A brand new sin!

The night’s dark and lonely,
It got killed by the laughing day!
Now it’s a joke; it sets me free…
And it gives me time to play.
Black and red, and platinum too,
I’ve got the best gift for you…
I’d start running now, if I were you!
Just look into my eyes so blue…
You’ll never again be lonely,
And left for dead by the day!
You’ll get my joke; it’ll set you free…
And it’ll give us time to play.
