Faith, I love this piece. It's magic! If you're not a novelist, already...then imho I think your pen should 'hit the road' running!! Truly a beautiful poem, dear lady.

Awww, you are so kind to me, Carlene. Thank you for your lovely comments. Actually, I have written a novella about a girl coming of age in New Orleans. I've considered posting some chapters on here but just haven't done it yet. Still toying with the idea.
