The NRA are f***king MORONS!

There is a completely fucking stupid commercial by the N.R.A. out on TV now. They say that there should be armed security guards in schools because the President has armed guards for his children. This is utter stupidity for several reasons! First of all, the President, no matter who it is at any given time, has NO choice in the matter. The President does not HAVE the Secret Service. If anything, the Secret Service HAVE the President and his family, along with many others, UNDER THEIR PROTECTION! If the children of a sitting President were ever taken captive, our entire Nation would be at risk. Would a President start dropping bombs on other countries, or even other Americans if his children were kidnapped and tortured, under threat of death?
HOW FUCKING STUPID DOES THE NRA HAVE TO BE?

Now, let me say something about guns in school. I worked in my local high school, where I graduated from, as a Hall Monitor and also as a Teachers Aide for about 4 years. Our school had armed Police Officers, not armed guards, actual, on duty Police Officers. I had no problem with that. Police are trained far beyond being able to hit targets with their guns. They have intensive training to make sure they shoot the bad guys and not innocent people. They have to graduate from a Police Academy or they don't get to become Police Officers.

In my old school, there was a good reason for it. But not every school has the same problems with violence in schools. I have no problem with on-duty Police Officers in schools. I would never want armed Security Guards who have not had such intensive training walking the halls of schools with guns!

I would object even more to teachers having guns. Teachers can barely control their classrooms. Having worked in classrooms as a Teacher's Aide, I have a great deal of experience working in situations with out of control students. Part of my job was to handle unrulely and violent students so that the teachers did not have to, so they could teach!!!! Teachers are teachers, not security guards or police. Many of the teachers I worked with are people I would never want to have a gun in school. Some of them were not the most stable people and under pressure would be even less so. This is not the Wild West of 150 years ago and the NRA is concerned more about gun sales than the safety of children! The conflict of interest is so thick you could make macaroni and choose with it. STUPID FUCKING MORONS!

Gee, lets not have Secret Service protecting the children of Republican Presidents anymore, lets see how that goes over when they get kinapped and all of the sudden we are at war with China and the really big guns come out. I bet the NRA would be jumping for joy when the NUKES come out! WHOO HOO!! LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THOSE BULLETS!!!!
