Image for the poem like a snake

like a snake

i thought i knew you
but i guess i don't
i'd love to love you
but i'm sure i won't

(chorus)

you are just like
a snake crawling in the grass
you don't even
have an ounce of class

you're the kind of man
a woman loves to hate
you can't be faithful
that's something i can't take

i don't want you there
hanging 'round my door
now it can never
be the way it was before

you are just like
a snake crawling in the grass
you don't even
have an ounce of class

spoken:

it's time you pick up your
alligator boots
your lucky rabbit's foot too
and get your big butt out the door
that's right, darlin', oh yeah
you heard that right, darlin'
your time is up and your luck
has just run out
it's time you moved on down the road
just go away
