Leave Me Alone
Hear what I'm saying, read my lips
Leave me alone in my despair let me drown
to the dark corners of my soul in my own hell I dwell
It dose not matter what you say or do
Stay away from my sarrow
Stop trying to climb my walls
I don't want anyone around
By chains Iam bound and there is simply nothing you can do
Let my anger and rage have their way as I run astray
This hell is mine to bare, it's nice that you care
But...there is nothing you can do to make me smile
not a joke, no words or sentances will help
keep me from feeling I could not be more lonely
So just stop and hear me
Listen to the pain that courses through every vein
within an empty heart, look past eyes that have no soul
My burdens have taken their toll and left me dark, empty and cold as stone

I know these dark feelings well, my friend, for I have suffered them much in my life... and in many past lives also before this present one. Some sorrows, like terrible crosses, can only be borne by the individual and none other. I would never wish mine on another, nor would I have another place their burden upon me. We all have our destinies. Some lonely roads we can share, and walk together, in life... but others can only be walked alone even when one is hand in hand with one's dearest love. I suppose it is the darkest side (and hidden price) of free will and of individuality... that what is most lovely and beautiful in all of that comes part and parcel with all that we carry hidden deep within. Our burdens and all. That is why, to be truly loved by someone... that someone must be sometimes willing to understand the burderns we bear and to love us despite them. Your poem, I see much of this wisdom within it... and there is beauty and understanding amidst the sorrow and sadness you convey. A beautiful work of art that I thank you for sharing with us! :)
