I Am the Gate

- I Am the Gate -

Before the coming, of the Empress of Heaven,
The stars burned and blazed, coming to naught…
Shooting and shimmering however they choose.
For chaos is the nature of things, without order!
Yet the chaos I bring is the fire that burns within,
Creating from naught, emerging out from thought.
I send forth my mind, and the fire is so let loose,
With blessings, and gifts of knowledge to confer.
Those who can bear the heat will reap a harvest,
For like a sun blazes the proudly illuminated star!
Fire meets water, and makes creation into an art.
This is how worlds are born, all truth confessed…
From the meetings of elements both near and far,
Each bringing unto the whole, some integral part!

From the high places to the deep abyssal realms,
I have courted the spirits, of oceans fathomless…
Until dark secrets passed to me, as from a lover!
What depth is too distant, what star is too bright?
Oh how I have wandered, so that it overwhelms,
The lesser souls whose journeys were careless…
I: who was daughter, to the most ancient Mother.
From the chaos, I bring the glory within the night!
From myriad existences, from times and spaces…
Of Promethean mystery, my venturing has been.
I teach what I learned, even as my wisdom rises!
You could not chart my course by mortal traces,
Without first looking for my image: deep within…
Where I am a part of all things, virtues and vices.

From Sirius to Earth, the gods can draw a line…
So what mortal can follow it, to the true source?
Let me show you wonders within my azure eyes.
Call me Mother, and I will love you, like a child!
If you thirst, I shall ply you with sweetest wine…
Pressed from the Elysian fruits, by infernal force.
If you lust, then you may lay between my thighs,
And know of hot passion fierce, and never mild.
Laugh with me, and we will shake all universes…
At one with joy, so as all sorrow has been slain!
Call me Queen, and I will prepare you a throne.
Kiss me, and in my embrace all agony disperses,
So that the key to a kingdom is yours to so gain!
I am the gate; pass through me, and come home.
