The Black Mother

- The Black Mother -

Swooning, near the red-hued feet of she,
The Black Mother, to whom all is as one…
Can there be one sensation not so blissful?
She is the bringer of peace and of ecstasy,
The origin, and what we shall all become…
Hideous is her power, yet she is beautiful.
She does not dwell in shrines or in statues,
But her spirit is there and is in her children.
Listen and you can hear the far symmetry…
And in more cosmic logic, all that ensues!
Walk with her and enter the holiest garden.
Dance with her and embrace true liberty!
Her power is given, to those she chooses,
For she is a font of wisdom: first of muses.

Upon the sacred mountain she appeared,
Leading me to her humble dwelling-place.
Skulls lay about the ground, all reverently,
Placed so that of them no one ever feared.
Death cannot harm us, within divine grace,
As the Mother leads us to a fairer destiny!
The ashes of the past are in her wild hair…
Transformed, into the darkness of spaces,
Between worlds and even between times!
Illuminated by a light beyond all compare…
For it is reflected in all her children’s faces,
Its’ origin is in her and in hearts and minds.
There is neither beginning nor end in store,
Which was not kissed: by the Dark Whore.

I am her daughter of old; my voice is hers!
For she is silent as ages pass, to rise again.
The lotus she bears is that of a stellar glory,
Which: upon the faithful child, truth confers.
She grants of pleasure at the price of pain!
Even, as she takes our pain: to ease worry.
Her garden’s blossoms are dark and rich…
Growing from blood and water, to the sky.
Her sword slays our inner demons entirely!
Between dawn and dusk, know you which,
Holds the beauty one should so least deny?
Both are equal, for they represent eternity.
Join in the rapture that is timeless, complete,
Come and kneel, before the Mother’s feet!
