Your way with words reminds me of Lovecraft, but with a more gentle spirit, I think they have more meaning because you care about them, you feel each one, at least that is the impression that I am given. In any case you make feel them; I guess that’s the point.

O...ummm...I do not quite what to say...just how to respond to these gracious comments!!

Theo...it is beyond honored, that I am, at this moment, to be sure!!  No one has  e v e r  told me that he(or, she) would be interested in purchasing anything that i have written--much less a small book!!

That is one of the highest compliments that i have ever been paid!! I am soo touched...to say merely thank you just doesn't seem to be quite enough......

i am also pleased that, you were able to pick up on the haunting quality of this piece....that was one of the objectives that i was attempting to achieve.
(Originally, the inspiration for this poem , was a late  October sunset...and my memories, in response to, the loss of a a very special individual in my life.)

"Extinguishing,ultimately, the flicker"

Is ultimately supposed to not have a space after the coma? Just wondering. Otherwise it's great.

The passage from autumn to winter, from life to senescence, an apt metaphor thinly veiled, pain palpable, grief unleashed and unstoppable.
