Lemonade...

I
had so many lemons given in 2012
I could drink lemonade all year round!
Thats why I want my lemonade made
cold ...easy and sweet
Cause 2012 thought it had us beat
with all those hurricanes...and storms
and shady debates...
with all those Floods..and shootings
and Huge earthquakes...

and not to mention
all the fuckin heart ache
and heart brake...
I wondered how much more any
one of us could take...
After the painful endings
and sad good byes...
after all the anger..and anxiety
after surviving all the lies...

After we suffered and learned
how to harness our lives..
in came the wind and stirred up
more strife...
But ...
Thats all right
Cause trouble dont last always
as I for see so many of us
having much brighter days..
Yep...I got enough lemons
to drink lemonade with
every meal of the day...
So long as its fresh squeezed..
I will be pleased...
As I sip all my troubles...away.
