Beautiful Demise (After suicide)
The day after the deed was done,
I felt no emotion, no sadness.
You won.
My advice you didn't want.
You chose your end,
I did not.
Loving you was not enough,
Your "beautiful" demise,
I couldn't watch.
Maybe I gave up to easily,
But I know you understand,
Crying as I read the note you left me.
What am I to do now you're gone,
All I have to visit,
Is a small piece of lawn.
You're memory is all I need,
I'll make you proud my darling,
You'll see.
One day I might come to grips with how you died,
I loved you everyday with compassion and pride.
But for now, I can only mourn you,
After suicide....
I felt no emotion, no sadness.
You won.
My advice you didn't want.
You chose your end,
I did not.
Loving you was not enough,
Your "beautiful" demise,
I couldn't watch.
Maybe I gave up to easily,
But I know you understand,
Crying as I read the note you left me.
What am I to do now you're gone,
All I have to visit,
Is a small piece of lawn.
You're memory is all I need,
I'll make you proud my darling,
You'll see.
One day I might come to grips with how you died,
I loved you everyday with compassion and pride.
But for now, I can only mourn you,
After suicide....
