Waiver
it`s not quite
the Siren`s Call
that initiates
my involuntary
free-will free-fall
though Ive suffered neglect
and deprivation
of such magnitude
I`m prone to ab-use
various frequencies
unblocked to me,
I`m well insulated
against cosmetic surface
not led around
by raw sexuality
However,
an ever-greenhorn
I`m constantly deluded
by practitioners
of emotional forgery
duped again and again
by the Holy Trinity
affection, communion, connection.
no matter how epheremal,
are my spiritual downfall
Sometimes I wonder
if I`m a case study
taught to women
enrolled in
some sort of
adult-ed conspiracy
where they learn
they can get their peace
experience genuine
male sensitivity
shown I`m not saddled
by the "guarded" gene
immerse themselves safely
in the strength and skills
of attentive masculinity
while, yes,
giving of themselves freely
then,
after experiencing their fill
as instructed,
they minimze their
non-existant risk
and jettison pre-emptively
not giving me a chance
to meet their expectations
unsuccessfully
leaving me
once again alone
knowing
within me,
a slave of intimacy
resides a reluctant savior
in possession
of emancipational
abilities
remaining dormant
in perpetuity
his evergreen host
prefers chains of chance
to guaranteed freeze
