A Father's Love
I hope I'll never witness tragedy firsthand
As a man I can't fathom why some will take advantage of those who cant defend themselves
I see the news stories and whatever else the media deems news worthy and I hope I'll never see my name in any of those sad stories
what happened to those children was a horrible thing..and then I look to the left of me and see my new baby and thoughts ring..
how dare someone take away such a beautiful joy
some can say its all in God's will
but sometimes accepting God's will is swallowing a bitter pill
nothing can prepare you for the tribulation of the story of losing your precious gift is spewed across the nation
penetrating your very existence as the thoughts bring about a
hatred you never thought existed
i dont know what to I'd do if any of my little ones I would lose
i would choose to end my own life rather than deal with losing my child
i would choose to never smile again then for that to happen to my offspring
i look to the right of me and in that infinite light i smile knowing I dont have to..
my thoughts go out to the people that have lost their children
nothing in the world can prepare you for that
I will admit to shedding a tear for those children and then for my own. I felt as that tragedy could happen to anyone at anytime.
Theres always an influx of attention given to life when tragedy strikes, but that same attention should be given everyday.
We seem to love more when a funeral is upon us then its "fuck love" when another loved one wrongs us
how precious is life and what does it mean to you?
funny how some speak of wanting to go to the afterlife
but i dont see you rushing to pop enough pills to kill yourself or even stabbing yourself with a knife.
the truth is we all want to live forever
some of us want to be forever young
this like everything else I write is simply my opinion and you dont have to agree or even accept them
all I ask is that you love life and those around you everyday and worry about the bullshit later
