"Anouther Big Bang"

"Another Big Bang" By Marcus Cooke

Neutrons like whiskey
kiss atoms
then melt like
ice cubes
on a hot summers
day.

Energy unseen
flows naked and free
unchecked
and unregulated
touching this
new universe
all at once.
its reach is infinite.

Fantastic light
capitulates this small space.
Due to physics
Sound's that could not
previously be heard
makes a appearance

Molecules expands
as energy engulfs
the light.
The noise that appeared
earlier becomes louder
and louder.
until it becomes
a thunderous symphony

The baby's heartbeat
is strong
months later
delivered by helping hands
he looks around
to see his surrounding
and sees me looking back.
with the same eyes.

Life huh!!
just when you think
you got things worked out
it still finds a way
to knock you for six.
