Ssshhhh...

She shivered as it crawled beneath the entrance of her coat
Leaving repugnant kisses as it silently trailed atop her flesh
Gliding along the structure of her spine as she desperately contained her screams
Praying not to tremble

She dared not weep
She dared not breathe

Huddled against the sorrows imprinted beyond the concrete
As the snow fell like ashes and the wind seared scars upon her face
It begin to nest between the fragile spot between the folds of her neck
Spinning webs and grazing fangs

She dared not gasp
She dared not move

As she quivered lightly in hysteria
Her eyes glossed over with teary  crimson
Listening to subtle steps of a horror in the moonlight
Her bones shrieked when her legs became numb with ache
And he whispered into her soul

Lilly...

Lilly...

Her sanity had snapped
And the instinct of prey overwhelmed her

He cooed
Stop

So she did..
Paralyzed
Petrified

Alone in the eyeless alley
His presence alone strangling her
Drawing ever closer
The shadows embodied his face revealing only that of a crooked grin

She fell to her knees
Grasping blindly in the darkness
Bleeding as her hands fondled glass
She took hold of it, raised it to her throat
And he sang..
