The ballad of broken needles

I'll make you forget the filth on the walls around us, i'll make it so you cant feel the needles grinding beneath your feet,  make you forget the rain, the  cold and sleet in our eyes is blinding

Using the silver from my tongue i'll make you a shield to guard against the all the horror, make you forget your alone through every lonely night and consider it an honour.

I'll make you forget those staring guys, i'll always treat you right, amaze you with the respect i show. Now tell me your struggle and I'll make it easier with all that I know, and protect you from those who might the cause of your demise

You've found your knight in shining armour, you've found your Prince Charming. I'll treat you like a queen, make it rain down gifts and spoil you, make it so all the abuse might never have been, I'll make you forget. Don't worry, you've reached your safe harbour, I say, my smile disarming

So baby open yourself up to me as you take that hit, tell me about the inner thoughts that guide you, tell me about the life you long to live, tell me what you'd do with me beside you and I'll make you forget. I'll make you forget with all my dazzling wit, watch it slide and fall away, all that shit, now come in out of the wet

We may not have much  influence but together we can stretch our little lives circumference. Forget this alleyway, forget this rusty bench we're sitting on. Come with me, I'll show you the castle I plan to build, we'll sip some Chardonnay Hun, as you sit in my lap and sway

We can kill time time and talk of trivial pursuits until your bored. Yeah I know I know it's cheap booze in a fancy bottle, but it's all I could afford but at least I'm not like those other brutes, just for a little while I'll let you snooze

You forgot and had too much and now it's getting to your head, its too late to let you head out. The perfect gentleman, I'll sleep on the floor and let you take the bed. It's just one night, I can do without

Let your dress slip to the floor and wash that make up off your face, I'll just sit here and admire you from afar, I swear that's all I'll do I won't even trace my fingers over that black lace, I'm not like that anymore, if I was I would have tried to kiss you in the car

Your half asleep, laying down,  when you see me start squirm and wriggle. Those arching brows start to frown. I can sleep in the bed you say and I promise to lie still and put a pillow in the middle

You wonder at how such vulnerable a man can survive,In a world so cruel, a man so honest and true. And yet he doesn't seem to be a fool, if anything he seems to thrive. You ask yourself 'is it possible he could be with you?'

She said I couldn't  but I guess she forgot, she leaned over,  unable to resist and did what she said I could not. 'I'm sorry' she says, but you made me feel so tingly and hot,
Your lips just had to be kissed

You sit astride me, gazing down with those honey eyes, Squeezing me with between those tender thighs as you gently guide me, and slowly take off your silky underwear, and reveal to me your secret lair

Sweet soliloquies whispered as I nuzzle your neck, your lips parted slightly, a mirror of down below, you wonder out loud if it could be this way nightly, a soundtrack as our passion starts to grow

You sweat and moan as you fit yourself around me and start to grind. Grip and squeeze until we fit as tight as can be, i slowly leave my gentleness behind as you fulfil a fantasy

Now we're laying here spent, your part is done. Slowly you turn over and start to sleep, our limbs still all  in a tangle, I should speak before you set down roots too deep, these dreams of hers are something I should strangle, and smile as she starts to weep

So I ask her when she'll leave, as I gently nudge her shoulder, she looks up at me, confused. Now she looks about a decade older as, too slow, she suspects that she's been used. I pass her clothes just so she'll know and starts to grieve

As she starts to dress I see a single tear, rolling slowly down her cheek
This was her worst fear she says, not looking quite as sleek. She knows whatever I'll say is not something she'll want to hear, her eyes fixed on the floor as mucus and tears start to mingle

As she reaches for the door,  I'm feeling proud. Hesitantly she turns and looks me in the eye and gently, biting back a stutter, asks me why, why does it have to be this way when we can have so much more if I would just be her guy, and I my words cut through her like a hot knife through butter

Is she some kind of masochist? Why does she look so hurt? surely she must have caught the gist, did she think she wouldn't pay? I explained the price of that hit crystal clear, as she lay inert for most of the day, Is it my fault she didn't hear?

Speaking slow and persistent I explained her road to her. But it must be easy to forget, as you lay shaking and shivering drenching the sheets with sweat, but I gave her the warning I owed her, so stop those tears your clearly faking

As she walks away in some random direction, cursing her for her weak will, how easily she forgot that I explained my predilection, I told her I do this for the thrill. But she didn't see the contradiction, she confused for fact my little fiction, as i made myself something I am not
