Killing Time

Everybody here has blood dripping from their fingers, the evidence may be gone but the memory still lingers. Why were we so motivated, gears of our brain turning, so perfectly premeditated. What crime was committed, that made us think murder was permitted. we killed what we have so little of, invited you the cliffs edge, then pushed you off. I'll murder you again time, gut you, then wipe away the slime, what was your crime? You persuaded me to forget, to forgive, you rob so many of their will to live, yet nobody thought to lay the blame at your door, for the casual way you rob everyone I'll leave you dead, laying on the floor, but its temporary. and compared to yours, my crimes will always be secondary. You take what's mine, wait patiently then rip it from me as if your fishing with your hook and line, I may be powerless to stop you, but I'm telling you I spot you. So when you come for me, I'll stare you down, and when I see your crown I'll knock it from your head. Yeah I'll soon be dead, but atleast there'll be no more dread, of what's to come. And when I look back at life and try to figure out its sum, I'll find killing you accounts for one of every two.
