the line symbolizes your deeds on this earth.

is all you were.
The line is what you lived for.
Living for the end of the line,
the end of your life.
That one line captures your entire life in an inch.

Nice poem! I like how you just cut a whole existentialist experience down to "an inch"... reducing life to nothing more than a nihilist view.
