The Poet's Progress

Birthed to the land as an outsider
A real unknown quanitity feature
Ground-level word-spinning spider
Beginner dubbed Strange Creature.

Venturing forth into the maze
Allowed to sure-footedly tinker
Turning some heads to gaze
Upon the established Lost Thinker.

Bathed in the creative sleep
Gearing up web-weaving steamer
Aiming at the calling deep
This path-lost Twisted Dreamer.

Now rises with the normal tide
Writing the unexpected much
Bearing gifts of the deep side
A true Thought Provoker such.

Enveloped in brazen style and form
Blazing hard confident and bright
Completely lost far from the 'norm'
Bask in the ignited Fire of Insight.

Long chained in a timeless way
To a view so deadly defined
And more portetnous in its say
Bear Witness, a Dangerous Mind.

Until finally the heights beckon
Thrones placed amongst the birds
A true force to behold and reckon
All Hail to the Tyrant of Words.
