Image for the poem Move Me

Move Me

It's not just
the way you look
in or out of clothes,
although I must say
it moves me
to see you there
hard at it
with your
scent on finger tips.

It's not just
your voice
that calls me out
and takes me to
a brand new high
that leaves me
breathing
breathlessly.

It's not just
the words you write
that make me know
the inner sanctum
of your love
has licked
a love unlost
on me.

It's not just
the way your hair
and eyes
and lips
and hips
and jostled
fibers ripple
smooth against
the foretaste
of my being.

No, it's all of these
and then
there is the laugh
that puckers
putting
sense awareness
of the stirring need
that centers on
the open crested
nestle spasmed
speechless realm
of candid sexed
and incandescent
warm and tender
talk that blister walks
across my mind
whenever you're
the wind that blows
the blossoms of my mind
that does me flat
into a pressed
unsquandered state
of satisfaction.
