The Vile Mouth
I wish the Earth would swallow me whole
like the demon spawn I am
take me to the furnace and burn my being
such shame I feel at the words I spout while drinking
awaking the next day just to be slammed
with acidic guilt that eat at the heart and mind
I can't seem to break this cycle
drinking to forget the pain
which leads me to leak from both sides of my bile spilling mouth
burning holes in others what a bitch I must seem to be
the words I say come crashing down on me wave after wave
hiding from the world seems to be my only answer
being like a cancerous tumor which spreads to all I touch
my pain so black I can hardly contain it
I wish to bury myself in a hole
where the light doesn't shine
with a muted mouth that doesn't
scorch those it touches

which leads me to leak from both sides of my bile spilling mouth .. fuck me. baby can i please put this on my profile with credit to you ofcourse .. this should be mounted on everydoor at aa meetings or every day houses where we drink. this is outstanding and raw honesty in its best form. i wish i could tell you its ok but the words ive spit have never been mended to this day. but it happens. we are addicts and we are in pain. the ones that are close to us know this already and chose to stay with us anyway. did we chase them down to drink and spit?. lol maybe on some occassions.. but not all of em. much love beautiful. please let me know if i can put that statement on my profile. thank you
