The Feeling

Fatigue followed directly

behind despair like rain

from a cloud it was her

body's action/reaction

to love:  a bone-numbing

tiredness a feeling of

surrender an acceptance:

she sank swiftly in the

seat her head falling

forward on her chest she'd

been living for so long

beneath a tangled tarnished

knot of strain stress a knot

that had just been loosened

severed even in one sharp decision:

there was some relief in that,

at least the last lose end.
