Why try when this world is headed for destruction

Why change based on someone's opinion.

Not knowing what your here for,no sense of direction,

Moving with the wind no stable position.

Mind clouded by things so unrealistic.

Then reality sets in and your only existing.

And every step you make seems descending.

Pleading with life to break the tension.

And to give you something more promising.

But the road is still winding and hasn't straightened.

The sand is too quick and your still sinking.

Grasping tight but about to release.

Only to ease you with some type of relief.

As you loosen a light brightens your street.

A gentle touch picks you from your knees.

And tells you all you had to do was reach.

Never have I left you I watched you grow.

And molded you to guide my souls.

For you are strong enough to take this load.

And wise enough to spread my words.

You have endured pain,
you have endured hate,
You have endured stress, now you can relate.

I see the hunger in your eyes.

I seen the dehydration in your cries and through all you rise

But hold on my son have faith in your God.

For this is not the only hardship more will arise.

Yield  to temption and yield to the lies.

Through my Gospel nothing is compromised.

Take my people and show them peace.

For it passes all understanding and comes through me.

Show them my love and forgiveness.

For it washes all iniquities.

And rebuild my army so I may take back my sheep.

And show my people togetherness so you may have eternal life in harmony.
