From the corner of my eye, my reflection waved to me
How would you react
if you found I never went away,
this cruel, malicious side
you would deny everyday?
How I'd love to see your face
if only you knew,
when you think you're sleeping,
the things that I do.
Your pathetic, 'moral', caring face
would fall in such despair
knowing even half the pain
your body's caused when you're not there.
You're such a fucking idiot,
I know you never ask why
after a 'full night's rest'
you're so tired you could cry.
Every time you try to sleep
and your legs start to itch?
That's me gaining control,
you self righteous bitch.
The fact that you've repressed me so
fills me with disgust,
when you and I both know
that I'M the real us.
You were never meant to be
more than a costume that I'd wear,
but somehow, for survival's sake,
you've come to think that I'm not here.
