The last poem i'll write.
Why do i write?
I dont write well.
I dont deserve to write.
I have no abusive parents.
Or some boy who has broken my heart.
Sure i have some messed up "friends"
but they arent even a start
to what some poets write about.
I dont use big words.
I dont make sense.
I dont deserve to write
when all the kids are suffering.
They should write,
sense they actually have something interesting to say.
I'll just quit now.
Have a nice day.[/font]

Reminds me of an essay I read by an American academic who was furious about how some people think only depressives can be poets. Trust me, as long as you have talent, ink in your pen and beautiful thoughts, then you can be a poet. You only need a soul, not necessarily a dark one.

Hmmmm... you don't need to draw on your experiences to be able to write. Just read some of my stuff; do you really think I've done all that horrific stuff? Yes, I'd like to, but I haven't. Imagination, that's the key. Keep it up hun :)

i think we all should write such type of things n express ur feelings...i m trying to improve myself n i think i will bcoz now i m just 13..i wil try hard..
