Rugcutter (melissa)

not your average
fuck me boots
more of
don't waste my fucking time boots
that wrapped up to hair
past a skirt
that concealed skin;
you have to earn
to touch

So I danced

let loose, like life depended on it
women like this need to see the sun shine
and shine
and shine
with dangerously
enticing consistency;

to consider waxing moon

I dusted off the lovelight
and went all-in

It was when I forget
she was there
that she grabbed my hand

grooves grew deeper
boots,
got looser

suprised
that I hadn't yet kissed her,
she stood up to nip the corner of my lip
and on her way back down
we circumnavigated every angle of soft
with practiced mouths
that saw the cliffs
and walked to the edge,
as we each dangled a leg over

she knows how to walk
in them boots
slow, and velvet heavy

woke up this morning
with a text-message from her,
didn't know she had my number

looks like cut-rugs
kissed-cliffs
and boots;
that assure that not a minute is wasted,
awaits me
