if a tree falls on my x wife in the forest and noone is around to hear it, will i still catch charges?
i have been places like this before but everything is not always so familiar.
god this feels like forever.
if you are there then i hope you don't hear me wail and moan.
i don't want you to know
that loneliness and missing you has come to feel like home.
if i could change the skies and turn the stars i would rearrange it all for you.
i could give you truth.not like these other mannequins and cool kids cracking jokes.
paper dolls and sappy notes.
i'm wishing you sitting here alone in my busy head.
god this feels like forever.
summer stands to test my will.
i'm on my way home still.
holding my head up so long for cause and effect.
i have never slept so soundly as with your breath on my neck.
i prey these gods to free you from your fears.
i want you to see me clear.
i'm still right here, and listening.
i would still run right back through hell before sunrise to see the mourning in your light.
to finally get it right and lend my hand.
back before we even began you decided not to care.
snap out of an empty stare.
i no longer call on hell for help.
i never needed much but sheets that linger with your smell.
