Dragon Heart

Some say they never were, only just a myth
 The dragon a fabricated story
But I'm a true believer of the great fire breathing wonder
I'm amazed by their beauty and grace
Hailing from a high mountain place and some
born from fire and ice others water and earth
Rising up wings flapping flying high
Spiraling around in the sky from ground to air
A beautiful pair one pure white really quite rare
 the other a purpleish delight
 Singing their glorious dragon songs
And in flight they meet a steady wing beat they greet
a heart shape they make tails entertwinded
I close my eyes and secretly wish one could be mine to be like the legend
of the great dragon whisperer, to be on your back
 Soaring high within the clouds
Wind in my face, you keep a slow and steady pace
My black lace cloak flowing behind me
It's like I'm part of this dragons soul
What a glorious feeling this freedom of flight
Queen of the skies as we rise higher and higher out of site
Finally my journey is at it's end
I thank my beautiful dragon friend for the ride of my life
