Shaken Not Stirred

I'm a half pint of happiness
and a pitcher of pain
a pinch of raw sadness
and a tad bit insane

I'm a cocktail of cravings
just a need to stay high
that I sate with my savings
what a joke, rather dry

I'm a cup of commitment
and a litre of lust
a thimbleful of faith
and a gallon of trust

I'm three quarts misery
and one quart content
a meagre malignant
more than a mite malcontent

What innocence I had
was long ago spent
my once solid metal
lies twisted and bent

I'm brimming with angst
never one to 'just wait'
struggling to deal
with a forever full plate

I'm writhing with questions
on love, life and fate
I put alot of stock in loyalty
and I don't deal in hate.
