In Frozen Twilight [North]

Sheet the world full of ice
send the cars to crash
cause the people around you to scream.
Slowly slipping deeper within the frozen--
Statues that once smiled,
cry in frozen place.
Full of brittle bones and shattered flesh.
Tears falling down like rain.
killing so many innocent--
So unaware that the moon has fallen...
Crestfallen and cratered.
Inside the sky frozen and stealing so much.
Everyone pressed against one another, in hopes to breathe their air.
The ones able to stay alive,
await the twilight.
Felt their final breaths as they slowly died.
Inside a crystal world:
Watching all alone
a panicked expression
blue eyes full of terror
only they can see through the thickness
that layer of beautiful, picturesque death.
Frozen twilight--
Where the world never looked so beautiful.
so silent, so emotionless.
so peaceful, in the worst state of mind.
No one knows,
no one will ever have to.
They have already died.
Peacefully,
how it should be.
No pain could be this wonderful.
I can still taste your tears as you cried.
Before they froze and attached themselves to me.
I held you as you closed your eyes.
You still held the flower that I gave to you.
That told me you still loved me,
even after our worst fight.
one last lingering, loving expression.
Hibernation for eternity-
Longing forever for this view.
The night the world changed me.
Alone and broken hearted-
Now always and forever with you.
