I'm Not Perfect

I'm sorry I'm not perfect
That I make mistakes
But you shouldn't ridicule
Every wrong that I make
I'm on the verge of tears
And no one can see
I'm pushed through the part
They want me to be

If grades are "too low"
You can point and laugh
"I did better than him"
Well good job done half
If something is missing
It sends all a shock
To everyone else
The boat I have rocked

But I don't want to be perfect
I don't want to be great
I want to run away
And leave all this hate
Being pushed to the edge
I'm about to just jump
If I do not soon
Get out of this slump

The laughter's not helping
In full back bend
Maybe it's really time
That I find the end
I know I'm not perfect
Is it so hard to see
The tear stains and scars
That they've given me
