the alone of her

she knows she's sexy;
in the best way
by herself in silk

her grace is like glacier
slow-subtle, shaping valleys

her velvet coil
softens venomous slither enough
to eagerly offer up blood
til pulse

I picture her
in deadly smooth setting
wearing shear fabric;
too deliicate for angels
holding a glass of wine;
red as ruby tears
and the background sound
must be what Bach aimed at

her form declares rapture from every angle
and her skin needs touch,
most of her needs a partner
god bless that man, who earned her hand
but, that alone of her
that which can not be coveted
entices again; my travelled allure

and
as my mind seeks entry
into her solace
my current surges past lightening rod
to will
my art has never been so hard
as when I think of her

I will stretch canvas
and drumhead
gild parchment
and pound keyboard like piano
as long
as there is the beauty
of the alone of her
