I Must of Forgotten...

I have forgotten
what is right
I've lost the fight
and now I don't know
what is wrong
anymore

the term "lost"
seems to be a common theme
within my confused mind
I have forgotten
what means the most
I have forgotten
what I need to find

the light is a distant thing
like something out of a dream
I walk away from its comfort
my heart irrepairably torn

I have not forgotten
the sweetness of love
yet I so clearly remember
how it had threw away my trust

those tears on my pillow
have dried a while ago
leaving me hollowed
it's painful
and i'm still bothered
will you ever come back to me?

then again...

I must of forgotten
how these flowers have turned rotten
I must have forgotten
that I should of trusted nothing
I must have forgotten
that anything beautiful
always is the first to be
destroyed...
