Will to die
The fog slowly lifts,
as abstinence dilutes
the poison in your veins.
The merciless light
of a flourescent lamp,
tortures your eyes.
This is not a prison,
yet all the windows
have steel bars.
It's the place where you,
caged like an animal
will be forced to live.
Escape from the pain and
the suffering, denied you
once again.
Compassion is a travesty
that is imposed on your will.
Your will to die.
as abstinence dilutes
the poison in your veins.
The merciless light
of a flourescent lamp,
tortures your eyes.
This is not a prison,
yet all the windows
have steel bars.
It's the place where you,
caged like an animal
will be forced to live.
Escape from the pain and
the suffering, denied you
once again.
Compassion is a travesty
that is imposed on your will.
Your will to die.
