Take
Take this cup and drink
Drink in the sweet nectar
for it is the cup of life
It will quench your thirst
It will surge through your veins and give you new life
Take this bread and eat
Eat your fill
for it is the bread of life
It will satiate your hunger
It will give you new meaning
And taste of this fruit
It is of the forbidden tree
that which is dark and delicious
Let it's sweetness consume you
Let it's succulent juice run down your chin
Taste and eat that which I have to offer
and let us dare to walk where only angels have tread
on the highest cloud with Cherubim and Seraphim
Let us swim in ecstasy and bask in the warm glow
Hosanna
Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
And once we are burning hot, let us plunge in to darkness
She will wrap her seductive arms around us
and hold us tightly in her clutches
We will fall prey to her alluring charms
Take this cup
Take this bread
Taste of this fruit
Those which I have to offer
for they are given up for you so that you may have eternal life
Drink in the sweet nectar
for it is the cup of life
It will quench your thirst
It will surge through your veins and give you new life
Take this bread and eat
Eat your fill
for it is the bread of life
It will satiate your hunger
It will give you new meaning
And taste of this fruit
