summoned by the full moon
these eyes diffuse the glare
while silhouettes of barren trees
design an interesting scape
of concrete and bark
contrasted against the dark
the translucent curtain's drape;
of orange lights and whirling fallen leaves
capture an unfulfilled longing stare
as lips delicately sing a forgotten tune,
of the calling of an autumn moon.
