tell it to me gently
i love life-
and yet i couldn't live
in a world without love
and you-
i will love you always
for you are more precious
to me than life itself
loving you comes easily
and leaving you
i m p o s s i b l e
yet should you ever fall out
of love with me please tell me-
but tell it to me gently
and yet i couldn't live
in a world without love
and you-
i will love you always
for you are more precious
to me than life itself
loving you comes easily
and leaving you
i m p o s s i b l e
yet should you ever fall out
of love with me please tell me-
but tell it to me gently

Gentle but heartfelt verse.
The picture lends itself to extracts from Song of Songs;
chapter 4, verses 2-4: "Your teeth are like a flock of sheep just shorn...Each has its twin; not one of them is alone. Your lips are like a scarlet ribbon; your mouth is lovely...Your neck is like the tower of David, built with elegance.."
chapter 7, verse 4: "Your neck is like an ivory tower. Your eyes are the pools of Heshbon...Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon looking towards Damascus."
chapter 7, verses

No matter how gentle it is spoken, it still hit's hard, but always better to be told then played along.
Beautiful write Faith.
