Push me under
Grip my wrist
Glare at me lovingly
Cover my eyes
So I can't see the truth
It stares cruelly
Drag me away
Ignore my screams
And cries of protest
I know you love me
I was wrong
My sobs hold no pain
Only thinly veiled happiness
I tell you to stop
You wont take it personally
You never do
You tell me I will die
My prince has come to save me
I am treading water
My mouth breaching the surface
You push me under
Glare at me lovingly
Cover my eyes
So I can't see the truth
It stares cruelly
Drag me away
Ignore my screams
And cries of protest
I know you love me
I was wrong
My sobs hold no pain
Only thinly veiled happiness
I tell you to stop
You wont take it personally
You never do
You tell me I will die
My prince has come to save me
I am treading water
My mouth breaching the surface
You push me under
