poised to spritely
alight....
babychiggers do
not burrow
under skin,skin, my'o
my itchin s k i ns (&thee
adults
do not even try)
chigger baby chigger
sucks alittle bbbblood
&leaves t'be c o m e a
vegetterranean
adult in it's
verysmall eternal world,
clear as day is clearly day,
naked perispirit, thee
itch
rem a i ns ithching......&
th'black blade, (Tattooman's
latest gift) c a m e
out in thee night
to rectify, serrations
crudely drawing a'moment's
relief
before th'traces of blood
& burn
sufficiented themselves to
an unhealing(f o r n'ow)process
mmmmm,somuch is th'time
a'lone.........children distant,
&most very quiet,
love's mem'o'ry gone far-less-palpable
than vague could even de'scribe
blotted from mindistances of seemingly so manymany,
the sea rolls & waits
to consume & disperse
any&all such insular
irritations
