Her sleepless nights
The darkness cascades around her as she sleeps; another sleepless night. Tossing and turning for no one fills her arms; nothing to drape her leg across.Yet she still welcomes the night. Only to wake time on end to see if there is absolutely a void in her eyes. Is it fear? A restless heart? A wondering mind, or just afraid to miss something? Only she will know the answer when it comes to her.
What comes to her as she slumbers? An unknown fear or the fear she knows, but hides away from her sight. She lains there a just plain wonders why is it she can not rest as she wants. Even the medicated mind can not silence the beast of the night that unknowingly that awakens her. What does it want? Maybe to think of it more during awaken hours; to put its mind at rest so this thing does not knock at night.
