Please make me quiet.

Shut down my heart and
dig the words out of my
dark mind.

Remove any feeling of love
and burn it.

Put black tape over my mouth
in an 'X' and lock away my
twisting tongue.

Keep quiet all the thoughts
that I once had for you and
slash them to bits.

Shred them like paper.

Keep my heart in a private war
inside of my empty chest.

Let my flames of heart ache and
anger rip through my body, kept
under control by the key and lock
upon my lips.

Silence me and my useless heart,
because after him it's no longer
of any use.
