A Poem I Wrote For My Great- Grandmother (R.I.P)
To everyone who reads this, this poem was written with respect!! So if you’re reading it I ask that you read it to understand and don’t read it just to read it!! May 2, 2010 has made one year since I lost my most important person in the world!! Writing this was not easy for me...
My soul hurts and my heart skips beats when I think about the fact it's you I can no longer see. You left me in this world all alone because it was your time, your turn to go home. But it was said that you came to me in my dreams and now that I think it was your voice I heard that crept up behind me. I look upon my reflection and all I see is your face. I break down and cry most of the time and my time will come for us to meet again but I must do right. I ask for your guidance and your safety hands to help me with my journey through this world as I seek for forgiveness......
