This is a very interesting point of conversation, one I have had with several friends, male and female. People do dress to be admired or even stared at. Women seem to dress more provocatively than men, but of course that may be a matter of who is doing the looking. Is there an unwritten social contract that dressing a certain way is granting permission to look, an invitation to look? If a girl went to all that trouble to work out, get fit, dress all up and try to look outrageously attractive and no one looked, would she feel slighted? This is a massive conversation and one that will probably persist, like showing off legs in a study cube, it's just something that happens, Grace.
