You came by, 
in a suit and a tie,
and an eye, 
a saddened eye,
with one foot in the ground
and one in the sky
and you,
you spoke of an African violet 
and the need for a pilot
to an island, 
of some silence. 
And you,
you went to the temple
to pray to God,
to find a way to 
dampen the riot
