Corporate America

since I was so very young,

everyone I knew told me I could be.

part of a bigger personality.

part of the world,

part of civilization

to become the man you're supposed to be.

will I get there?

will it be pretty?

will I fit in, real nice?

will it accept me?

and will I do good?

I could make a change,

I'm certain!

now that I'm older,

the future looks bitter.

things aren't what they were..

Business suits,

and political disputes.

burden the air with grief.

where will I fit in?

what could I do?

to make this feel like home?

Everyone's, angry

and caught up in business.

no ones looking for a change.

could I make a difference?

could I change it at all?

I don't see the skies, anymore.

we've lost our good nature, and been bruised and beaten.

we're afraid to fight back,

to have something different.

we're terrified, to lose everything again.

when I was younger,

I dreamed I could change,

be a part of a bigger plan.

now the worlds given up,

and we're a corporation.

mass producing us all.

We're one of the same, and

we won't fight back!

a political pawn,

to be used.

we're through with our fighting,

we'll do what you want.

you'll never hear from us again.
