To My Superhero <3
I want to be addicted
to your peace
I want your love
to numb my pain
Your kisses
to take me away -
to a world where my hurtful past
will be just - faded memories
To be happy
To be free
Just -
you & me
& our babies
one big happy family
Am I being naive?
Or do dreams really become reality?
For everyone...except me?
Will it be my turn, finally?
The future
=
uncertainty
But you & I -
we, are meant to be
It's so -
plain to see
Why else would the Universe make it so difficult for us to be?
You know what they say...
The key for anything worth having - one must pay the price; and the price is always work, patience, love, self-sacrifice.

The way music meanders through my brain, a few songs come to mind reading this.

Nicely expressed. I'm a bit older than you and all I have to say about love...it's still just as complex and difficult. Sad but true...at least for me anyway.

This really blew my mind! I have to come back after some time contemplating this amazing poem. I feel very connected to it, but also conflicted because of comlex contrasting feelings that I need to contemplate. JJ
