You Are There And I am Here
You are there and I am here in solitary
With a legion of pleasant and sombre thoughts
of you hunting me days on end.
I pray these emotions were somehow solube
Then again without you the vital ingredient
The flavour maybe tasteless or bitter.
You are there and I am here wishing
Those first day of solstice will quicken.
I cannot stay any longer
To fix my eyes on your beauty.
Your lust lustrous smile luring like
Mona Lisa's and your charm that
Has never failed to please me yet.
You are there and I am here yening
To kiss your lips sweeter then any candy I have tasted.
Longing to be clasp so tight in your arms
I still make wish's on shooting stars.
Believing they will break thru the muted sky
And become a reality, none has though
For you are still there and I'm here in solitary.
With a legion of pleasant and sombre thoughts
of you hunting me days on end.
I pray these emotions were somehow solube
Then again without you the vital ingredient
The flavour maybe tasteless or bitter.
You are there and I am here wishing
Those first day of solstice will quicken.
I cannot stay any longer
To fix my eyes on your beauty.
Your lust lustrous smile luring like
Mona Lisa's and your charm that
Has never failed to please me yet.
You are there and I am here yening
To kiss your lips sweeter then any candy I have tasted.
Longing to be clasp so tight in your arms
I still make wish's on shooting stars.
Believing they will break thru the muted sky
And become a reality, none has though
For you are still there and I'm here in solitary.
