Rather than sending
unreadable notes
telling you
of how
the world would be
so much less brilliant
had you not been
in the window
of my soul,
I shall
with a picture
show how the shadow
of your sensed impressions
cascaded down
into the depth
of me
and find my fingers
wanting simply
to have their way
with your hair.
