Rhonda

For Rhonda, my Mother ...whom left this earth by force of
her own hand .....Or so they say.

Rhonda....sweet sweet Rhonda
the world has hurt you so.....so...
Deeply do I feel your wounds
I feel them in my soul....

Yes I feel you breathing...I sense
your being inside me...
No one understood you
you were a stranger
in your own family

As you struggled against your
hidden enemy
it set fire to your soul
but left the brand on me...

Black sheep...everything is gonna be alright
cause in my dreams I see you in your bed
crying late at night...

When Granddad left your room.

Your skies turned gray...
as unchecked wounds festered...
emotions turned into madness and your
once happy smiles turned to confusion...
and sadness...
As you were forced to lay in a bed of sin created
by someone else ...to cover there tracks...
They all turned there backs...
and sold your soul...and mental health.

Rhonda....sweet sweet Rhonda....
I know they hurt you so... so....
They hurt you so bad...
I feel your wounds
in my soul...
So know I ...will always love you...
You were my hero...
even when they said you didn't matter
and they'd rather make you less than zero...

You are infinite in my heart...
inside me your energy flows..as I am filled
with your spirit...I have your inner "cristos"
That "anointing"...that flows in our bloodline
I will complete the work that began in you
I will connect our souls through space and time
Even though they didn't hear you
I feel you...
and when the wind blows I'm near you
My Somali Rose...
Root of my Light...
Giver of my Life...
I wont stop till
I get it right...
I know you were tired
but I'm strong enough to fight

Rhonda....sweet sweet Rhonda
the world has hurt you so.....so...
Deeply do I feel your wounds
I feel them in my soul....
